- Drive along National Highway No.1 and get off at XinYing exit, then connects to Provincial Highway No.1 and get off at GuanTian exit. Then drive along Eastern-Western Expressway No.84. After passing YuJing, connects the common road of Provincial Highway No.3 and Provincial Highway No.20 to BeiLiao and NanHua. Then pass JiaXian, BaoLai and TianChi and you¡¦ll reach Yakou Youth Hostel.
- rive along southern part of National Highway No.3 and get off at 334 kilometer of GuanTian, YuJing exit. Then connect Eastern-Western Expressway No.84. After passing YuJing, connects the common road of Provincial Highway No.3 and Provincial Highway No.20 to BeiLiao and NanHua. Then pass JiaXian and BaoLai and you¡¦ll reach Yakou Youth Hostel.

- Drive along National Highway No.1 and get off at DingJin exit, then connects Eastern-Western Expressway No.10 to the terminal-QiShan. Then drive along Provincial Highway No. 184 and pass MeiNong, ZhongTan, XinWei, LiuGui. Then connect Provincial Highway No.27, pass XinFa to QiNong. Then connect Southern Cross-Island Highway, pass BaoLai and TianChi and you¡¦ll reach Yakou Youth Hostel.
Visitors can start at Qishan and go along Provincial Highway No.3, pass NanHua, BeiLiao to JiaXian. Or visitors can start at Qishan or MeiNong and go along Provincial Highway No.21 to JiaXian, then pass BaoLai and TianChi and you¡¦ll reach Yakou Youth Hostel.

¡¹¡¹On Western section of Southern Cross-Island Highway, there are gas stations in JiaXian, LiuGui and BaoLai. From this point there are gas stations in ChiShang and HaiDuan, Taitung. ¡@¡¹¡¹¡¹Before accessing Southern Cross-Island Highway, be sure to fill the gas tank.¡¹¡¹¡¹
